Whitney Blount is a Metalsmith born and raised in the mountains above Anchorage, Alaska. Her strong ties to Cape Cod come from summers spent at her Grandparents' home in Eastham. From the Gulf of Alaska, Whitney stays connected to her large extended family still residing in Cape Cod Bay.

Whether exploring tidal zones from the ocean's last laps, listening to the migratory birds, or hiking mountain peaks, she stays surrounded by nature’s rhythms.

Whitney’s style is influenced by her love of nature as well as a desire to offer hand formed pieces of wearable art. Materials are sourced from around the world and processed in her studio in Anchorage, Alaska where she resides with her husband, Justin.
