Abstract and City Photographs

While using color, form, light and composition as basic tools of his art, Elijah's style was born from a moment of frustration when he arrived at a location without his tripod. He decided to create images from the patterns and elements he observed in motion.  While most photographers give primary attention to focus and sharpness, Elijah prefers the freedom of the camera in hand.  Many of his photos use intentional camera movement.  While the city is well out of his comfort zone, he enjoys the play of light and patterns an urban visit offers.

Elijah couples each of his images with the perfect substrate to compliment the emotion of the photograph being presented.
